Quick Estimate Privacy Policy
Young&Chill, doing business as Workers Note ("we"), provides Quick Estimate ("the App"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
1. Information you enter
The App lets you create estimates and invoices. This can include your business details, customer contact details, service addresses, line items, prices, tax settings, notes, logos, and generated documents. These business records are stored on your device by default.
2. Optional accounts and backups
An account is not required to create, save, export, or share documents locally. If you choose to sign in, restore purchases, or use a cloud backup feature, we may process the account identifier, email address, purchase status, and backup data needed for that feature. If you choose Google Drive backup, the App sends the backup file to the Google account you select; Google handles that data under its own policies.
3. Usage, device, and advertising information
We and service providers may process app version, device and operating-system information, identifiers, IP-address-derived approximate location, diagnostic events, and feature-use events to operate the App, prevent abuse, understand reliability, and improve the product. The free version may display ads through Google Mobile Ads or similar providers. Those providers may process advertising identifiers and related device information as permitted by your device settings and their policies.
4. Permissions and content sharing
Photo access, camera access, microphone access, or speech recognition are used only when you choose a related feature, such as adding a logo or using voice input. When you share a PDF or image, the receiving app or service you choose handles the shared content under its own privacy policy.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We may use Google services, including Firebase, Google Play Billing, Google Sign-In, Google Drive, and Google Mobile Ads; Apple services, including App Store billing and Sign in with Apple where available; and service providers that host or support optional Workers Note account and backup functions. We disclose information to these providers only as needed to provide, secure, measure, or support their respective services, and may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security. We do not sell the business records you create in the App.
6. Retention, security, and your choices
Local records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the App. Optional account, backup, purchase, analytics, and security records are retained only for as long as necessary for the feature, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute handling. You can manage app permissions in your device settings and delete local records in the App.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the optional services we operate. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so you should also keep copies of records you need.
7. US privacy requests and data deletion
For a request to delete optional account or cloud-backup data, email yc@workersnote.com with the subject “Quick Estimate data deletion request” and the email address used for the optional account or backup. We may ask for information necessary to verify the request. Deleting an account does not delete documents still stored only on your device or files you independently saved to Google Drive.
Where applicable law provides rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain information about personal information, you may make a request using the same email address. We will respond as required by applicable law after verifying the request.
8. International processing, children, and changes
We and the service providers described above may process information in the United States, the Republic of Korea, and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.
The App is for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when the App or applicable law changes; material changes will be posted here or communicated in the App.
